The majority of homes sell through the MLS system. We feel that providing this selling tool to those who like to do things on their own and save a little money, but would like the MLS benefits that other sellers have is one way to give full service to all our clients.

HOW DOES THIS WORK?

Mikkelson Realty and Auctioneers will put your home in the local MLS system at a reduced rate than what you would normally pay for a full listing contract. Your home is then available for all participating REALTORS in the MLS to show to their prospective buyers. Just as we would in a traditional transaction, we share the commission with the other MLS agents so they have the same incentive to sell your home as they would any other home in the MLS. In most cases the cooperating agents receive the same selling commission that they are accustom to receiving because Mikkelson Realty and Auctioneers will take the discounted portion of that total commission.
